I have been a patient of Eye care of Maine for many years. I recently had a problem with a pair of frames that had broken in a spot that could not be fixed. This was the second frame that had broken in the same spot, appearing to be a manufacturing defect. The first one was covered under warranty, but the second was not. I called the optical center and explained the situation and they told me to bring them right in. I also explained that I was in a desperate situation because I can’t see without my glasses, and I was leaving to go on vacation in the morning and could not wait for a new frame to arrive. Debbie assured me they would find a solution. She had spoken to her manager and co-workers in the optical department, and they were all beyond helpful. The all worked diligently to find a frame that would fit my lenses and actually retro fitted them so that I could have glasses for my vacation and also were able to see that this was a manufacturing defect and covered the new frame under warranty. While away on vacation they ordered me new frames and when I returned, I was able to have new glasses right away, following my eye exam. Debbie and Tiffany were absolutely amazing and so personal and professional in helping me through my situation.
